Cupid’s Favorite Holiday

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I need to start thinking about what to get for my wife.  I normally put a lot of work into making this day special.  I have found that a little effort can make a big difference.  For example, last year I froze mint, raspberries, and edible flowers in ice cubes for a beautiful twist on her favorite drink. That year I also made her breakfast in bed and brought it up with a bunch of red, heart shaped balloons.  I already made the dinner reservation and decided on what flowers  to buy.  I did not want to go with the predictable red roses, so I ordered lavender roses with white lily blooms.  Now for the candy.  I don’t want to buy the heart shaped box of assorted chocolates that are stacked 100 boxes high at CVS.  I have always been a fan of the conversation hearts.  In fact, the conversation heart candy became the most popular candy on Cupid’s big day in 2017. So, if you want to send your kid off to school and you want to shower their classmates with sugar, here is a list of the top ten Valentine’s Day candy

  1. Conversation Hearts
  2. M & Ms
  3. Truffles
  4. Hershey’s Kisses
  5. Nerds
  6. Dove Chocolate
  7. Wild Berry Skittles
  8. Candy Necklace
  9. Cinnamon Bears
  10. Valentine’s Dots

Penless has a couple fun products to help with being creative on Valentine’s Day.  The heart sticker  is great to affix on any gift.  They also have the heart greeting card and wine tags .With all the products, you can personalize a message onto the QR code.  This not only makes it fun to give, but also fun to receive.  I am definitely ordering both this year.
