Marking the End of Summer

LABOR DAY

The days are getting shorter, football season is underway, the kids are back in school and the Labor Day weekend is here.  To some, this may mean the “unofficial end of summer” or a time to score great deals on patio furniture. Although these are both true, the meaning of Labor Day may have been lost a bit over the years.  This day was created back in 1882 to honor the hardworking Americans that created the foundation of our everyday lives.  What better way to celebrate the American worker than giving them the day off to spend with friends and family.  This yearly national tribute is for all the strength, prosperity, and well-being that citizens of the United States have put in.  No one is quite sure who first proposed the holiday for workers, but the majority of Americans benefit by enjoying a long weekend.

If you are planning a Labor Day party, why not send the invitations out with a patriotic VideoDrop?  A fun video will definitely make your invitation memorable. Penless has American Flags VideoDrops, I 💗USA VideoDrops among others to fit the occasion.
