Once again, summer has morphed into autumn. To me, Fall is the best season. There are many reasons I love this season. The weather is changing, I can now go outside without slathering on sunscreen, the leaves are turning colors, football is finally here, and the holidays are just around the corner (without all the craziness yet)! It is also a great time to go to restaurants since all the seasonal items such as Pumpkin desserts, Spiced lattes, the best fall Beers, and pecan pie are all reintroduced onto the menu.
Fall is nostalgic. It is time to relive those childhood memories of going to the pumpkin patch and picking out that perfect pumpkin to walking through a pile of crunchy leaves. Everything is just a little bit cozier in the fall. Switching out your go-to garden salad for homemade soup, wearing anything plaid (Bonus points if you have a plaid jacket for your dog), and nothing tastes more like fall then that first sip of warm apple cider in front of the fire. Who needs Netflix when you can sit and watch the fire? After all, this season is prime time for seeking comfort in the midst of dropping temperatures. Creating a serene and snug space is one of the best perks of autumn.
Welcoming the new season, I am planning on diving into some fall craft projects. Penless has DIY stickers and Gift Card Holders that I am going to start getting ready for the holidays. I tend to give quite a few gift cards for the holidays, so I will start now with decorating the Gift Card Holders so when the holidays do roll around, I will have that done and it will be that much less stressful. Yay!
I also plan to make journaling a habit. I have realized that this is a great time for self-reflection, awareness, and mindfulness. This is where Penless can help out. With so many stickers, I can put a quick picture or video on the QR code and attach the sticker to my journal. Penless is such an easy app to use that gives that touch of personalization!
